To make one 40 cms square Union Jack cushion you will need approximately 1½ metres of your chosen main fabric and ½ metre each of two contrasting designs for the stripes.
You will also need some basic sewing equipment such as pins, tape measure, matching thread, scissors, fabric marker and an iron to complete the project.
