The finished bag is a perfect fit for an e-reader IN a cover. The front pocket is perfect for storing your USB cable and charger. It doesn't have to hold an e-reader, though! It's also the perfect cross body adventure sized purse that will hold your things while you explore from the park to the mall to the farmers market.
Love this bag! The directions are a bit confusing, but after some trial and error I was able to figure them out.
Made this for grand daughter she loved it. Pattern was a little hard to understand but got it figured out.
I did it! I made this bag in just a couple of hours. I had a hard time understanding the directions when first read, but after going through step-by-step I got the gist of it.
It's really very cute. I'm going to get a better adjuster for the strap and I used the 9" zippers I found at my local JoAnn instead of the 12" zippers, they worked perfectly and no trimming necessary!
Looking forward to making more bags of this type for gifts and maybe for sale :)
This PDF pattern includes 4 pages of step by step picture instructions and all pattern pieces. All you need is 1/2 yard of 3 coordinating/contrasting fabrics, batting or fleece, thread, 2 zippers and rectangle purse rings!
The bag isn't too difficult to put together but if you have any questions, feel free to email me.
**Remember, DO NOT SCALE when you print. Your printer might tell you that "some clipping may occur"... ignore it. Keep scaling OFF!!**
Of course, you are more than welcome to sell (unlimited) finished products that you make from this pattern and I would LOVE to see what you make! The pattern itself may not be duplicated and sold under any circumstances.
