Smashingly Successful Online Sales: A Beginner's Guide
Newly updated in late February, 2012
Many crafters want to know how to start selling handmade accessories online. You may be a skilled artist, but just now thinking about taking the leap to online sales. Or, you might have a brand new online shop, but would like a few more tips to add to your arsenal.
Geared toward the beginner, this 21-page guide will give you several tools to empower you to take this leap to online selling. The e-book takes designers through discussions about color and design for online sales, gives photography tips, provides insight about selling Etsy, and personal websites, and shares tips about social marketing for free advertising. The advice will benefit those who make all forms of boutique accessories, from hair bows, to jewelry, to totes and knitted booties! In addition, the book discusses inexpensive advertising options, packaging/mailing/customer care, and ends with simple business practices to help with scheduling, pricing and accounting.
Some good tips, I would have liked pictures to break up the text, but I appreciate the author putting a lot of information inside this e-book. Definitely geared for the beginner, but seems like it may be a bit dated (for example I don't know how well boutique clothing does on ebay any longer)
I found this to be a very informative and helpful. Thank you!
