“Great little bag. Instructions are well written and easy to follow. I had some isssues with the piping, but that was more user error than the pattern/directions. This is not a beginner pattern. But none the less a GREAT bag.”
The Dottie Vintage Bag is a retro-inspired handbag (or shoulder bag depending on the handle length you choose) that is great the way it is, or easily modifiable for the advanced sewer. This pattern is a great way to practice making your own piping. The lining includes a small zippered pocket, and a large main compartment. There are tips included to make this into an insulated lunch bag or vanity bag for your cosmetics. So many possibilities with Dottie!

Such a cute bag! I modified the lining, added small pockets, and padded the exterior pieces to transform this into a super cute carrying case for my essential oils
