Tired of bringing your "mom purse" with you for a quick run to the store? Jennifer's Essential wallet has enough room for your phone, drivers license, and keys. A quick run out to the store has just been made a lot easier. Jennifer's essential wallet is easy to make so you will want to give them to all your friends as gifts! The wallet measures 7 1/2" W x 5" T
I made this as an all-in-one wallet for my daughter for Christmas, and while this is a clever design, I feel it needs some adjustments. For example, I changed the snap for the cell phone pocket to velcro to eliminate the chance that my daughter would snap too hard and damage her smart phone screen. And although I'm an experienced sewer, I found the bias binding around the flap for the cell phone pocket to be very tricky -- it took me three times with different methods to get it to look right! (I ended up using the method described but would have like some more close-up pictures and explanation for how much extra to allow for the corners.) I would also shorten the length of the wallet as an iPhone seemed to be swimming in the pocket. I also enlarged the ID window pocket to show my daughter's entire school ID.
