Tidy up your crowning glory with these florets. These two versions of the floret hair holders are fun to make and suitable for beginner crocheters. The mini ones are so decorative on braids, plaits, and even on dolls. They are fantastic last minute gifts to friends and loved ones or maybe you need something for party favors, stocking stuffers or even fund-raising.
Size : Mini - 1.7 inches(~4.3 cm) across
Maxi - 3.5 inches(~8.9 cm) across
If you know basic crocheting skills like slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, working in the rounds, joining rounds, etc, then this pattern is for you.
This pattern consists of 5 pages. It comes with many pictures detailing the items crocheted at different stages.
The acrylic yarn I used is 18 wraps per inch and hence is categorised under 'fine' yarn. Wraps per inch (or WPI) is a measure of the grist or the thickness of a yarn.
*Note: These are downloadable instructions and patterns for making a floret ponytail holder. Since it is a download, a window will open to download and when you are signed into your user account at the time of purchase, it will also be located in the "My Library" section of your user account immediately after purchase.
•Acrylic Yarn (your choice of colors. In this tutorial, I used lemon yellow and pastel purple for the mini version and red and green for the maxi version)
•Ouchless elastic hair bands (any color and size)
•Crochet hook (size needed for your yarn type)
•A pair of scissors
