Dish towel designs featuring the days of the week were a favorite motif from the late 1920s through the 1940s. Decorated with endearing embroidered drawings and appliquéd details. This collection features daily events – laundry, ironing, sewing, grocery shopping, cleaning, cooking and prayer. The designs are approximately 6” wide x 9” tall and can be use for an assortment of applications. A perfect hostess gift or house warming gift! Please note that pattern does not come with iron-on transfers. Designs must be transferred by hand.
• Seven cotton dish towels approximately 18” x 28”
(Vintage or New)
• 1/4 yard red checked cotton fabric for appliqué pieces
• 1/4 yard nonwoven iron-on interfacing
