I purchased this pattern to make dresses for my granddaughters in sizes 10 and 4. I love the style but instead of using a knit, I used a stretch brushed corduroy. I altered it some by making facing for the neck, and I added a 14" zipper to the back. To accommodate the zipper, I had to cut the skirt into 3 sections rather than 2. I used my serger and regular sewing machine to construct. My only problem is that on the smaller pattern, size 4, the skirt side seams did not line up with the bodice side seams. I now have to take apart the skirt and move the side seam almost an inch into the front skirt piece on each side. The size 10 looks great and I am very pleased with it. I finished the larger dress by topstitching the neckline and the dropped waist. Except for the small glitch on the smaller dress, this pattern is absolutely adorable!
