“Great ! Thank you !”
We'd all like to go green, save money and create an eye catching frame for our home at the same time! This 13 page ebook can show you how to do just that. It contains clearly explained basics of metal embossing, and how to emboss recycled soda can metal strips to adhere to a frame for a unique and beautifully embellished look. Even the frame can be recycled since you'll be covering it with your beautiful metal strips! The process is explained in 27 clear, easy steps that are well illustrated with color photos. Be prepared to become addicted to metal embossing once you find out how easy it is.
The frame in the project is 4" X 5" with 7/8" sides, but the patterns for the embossed strips can be used for any sized frame desired. The strips are made from recycled soda cans and we all have plenty of those around the house!
The basic embossing kit consists of a thin foam mat, Teflon refiner, stylus, and decorative wheels. Many people have these tools in their basic crafts supplies, but they can be purchased in a kit for under $9.00 at one of the resources listed in the ebook. This kit also includes a ball cup and large ball and rollers which could be used in another design.
The rest of the basic supplies which are needed; the thick mat, acrylic sheet (an acrylic ruler or any flat hard crafting surface), sanding block, and brass brush can be improvised with common household items as explained further in the ebook.
*Note: These are downloadable instructions for making a recycled soda can frame. Since it is a download, you will receive this by email and it will also be located in the "My Library" section of your user account immediately after purchase.
