I made this dress for my SIL for a Halloween costume. It was the first time I'd attempted to make any garment for an adult, though I've been sewing for children for over a decade. I found the instructions very easy to follow, the pattern pieces were spot on, and I only had to make minor adjustments (added more width to the skirt to make it fuller, attached the cape permanently instead of temporarily) that were more for taste than function. Great job! I highly recommend this one to anyone looking to get into sewing for adults!
