My patterns are easy to follow because I write patterns for beginners!
This simple sewing pattern is easy to follow for any beginner, age doesn't matter. I've written 2 pages of numbered step by step instructions in a large, plain font. I've made diagrams or inserted photos for most of the steps. There are actually pattern pieces you pin to fabric. I don't just say "cut certain sizes of fabric rectangles", like some patterns do. Print out on 8+1/2 by 11 inch paper.
The finished Tote measures about 10 wide x 13 inches tall. (can be made larger or smaller). This bag is fully lined!
Fun fabric sets the mood, choose a novelty print, or sheer organza fabric or netting. You can sew decorations on the fabric before sewing it together, too.
