Named for an all-time favorite Sis Boomer, we bring you the Dana top. The ruffled, gathered yoke recalls times of sweet innocence. With or without the flirty sleeves, we love our breezy Dana Top. And with so many great choices of Sis Boom Fabrics, you will possibly want a Dana Top for every occasion. We even like this worn long as a carefree Dana dress for the beach or market. This style is so spacious and roomy, it makes for a comfortable frock for those first months of pregnancy!
-Interfacing: 3/4 yard of fusible tricot interfacing is needed for the inner sleeve bands.
-1/2” single fold bias tape (bias tape-finished sleeveless option only): 1 package, or make your own.
-Wash-away Wondertape (clean-finished sleeveless option only): Optional, but highly recommended.
-Fabric: 2-3 yards, depending on size, length, and options

"Carla C and Sisboom have done it yet again. I cannot believe how fast and easy this top goes together. The detail is amazing, especially the binding across the top. The step by step directions and tons of pictures never have you doubting what to do next! This has become a favorite in my wardrobe and I'll be adding several more in different sisboom fabrics!"
"When you sit down to sew a pattern you want to have fun and enjoy the process as well as the end result. As easy as this sounds there are not many patterns that fit the bill. The Scientific Seamstress's creations ALWAYS defy expectations. Because she explains every step in detail (and then some) you can simply measure, cut and sew without worrying about what you don't understand. She makes us better sewists. This does not mean these are uncomplicated patterns-Carla is able to break down the sometimes baffling techniques making you wonder why you ever thought sewing clothing was hard. She makes sewing fun again.
The Dana and Maddie are yet another in her line of wonderful patterns, demystifying the sewing and leaving you free to embellish (or not) and make a unique piece of your wardrobe"

Great pattern and very detailed. The shirt is a great fit. Thanks for the wonderful patterns.
I know this is sold under SisBoom, but the pattern work is by Carla C. Directions are very clear. The fit of this design is a bit different, not so flattering on busty or full tummy ladies! I do recommend this pattern if those two aren't a concern.
sis boom are great patterns always easy to read helps with learning how to sew
