This uniquely shaped tote bag is the perfect size. Once completed, it measures 16 ½” wide x 12 ½” tall, 6” deep making it adorably suitable for a purse or a tote bag. My construction technique makes the bag sturdy (no slouchy bags here) with lots of body even when empty. The bag is free of zippers but still includes an interior pleated pocket. The Why Knot Bag also has two outside pleated pockets to adorn the sides and allow easy access to your phone and keys.
The pattern is loaded with more than 45 pictures to guide you step-by-step when making your own Why Knot Tote Bag. I have had a great response from my Sewnopsis so I have included one with this pattern. It serves as a handy reference tool to keep by your sewing machine (kinda like a cheat sheet) when working on this project. It will save you lots of time and trips going to and from the computer to see what step is next. It's even handy to keep in your purse to take to the fabric store when purchasing your supplies so you don't forget a thing and have to make the dreaded trip back to the store.
This pattern may not be mass produced. However, it may be used to sell handmade, by you, completed items with the following condition:
