Made with Sis Boom Fabrics, the jewel tones light up our children's lives with color and playfulness.
This design sews up very quickly and easily, and is just perfect for beginners. Dimensions/instructions are included for adding both single and double-edged ruffles to the bottom of the top/dress.

-Notions - thread, straight pins, 1/4" wide elastic, 1/2" wide single fold bias tape
-Fabric - 1-3.5 yards, depending on size, style, and options.

Fabulous pattern - But then Carla C never fails to impress! Everything is perfect, from the pattern pieces, instructions, to the pictures etc. Some time is needed when making the elastic casing, but the effort is well worth the time! The final dress is just stunning no matter what fabric you choose...Love this pattern!

Carla is just a fabulous pattern designer and Jennifer has an incredible ability to design beautiful fabrics, together the two of them have teamed up for beautiful clothing. This dress/top is so quick and easy. I love it in light weight fabrics for summer and in cords or flannel for cooler weather. It is so versatile, quick and easy! Love it!

WOW! That's what I said when I had a completed dress 45 minutes after I started cutting it out!! There are only 4 pieces to this dress- the 2 ruffles, the front, and the back. So, cutting it out is a breeze! This dress is incredibly easy to make and the directions are so detailed that you will never feel lost. It's such a cute and versatile style. I'm sure I'll be making lots of these!
