Your WellieWisher™ doll can beat the heat in a cute, trendy crop top! Plus it's reversible for two looks in one! She will beat the heat whether she's at the beach, the playground or a summer picnic.

The Popsicle Top is a simple, loose tank top that is easy to sew, and pairs perfectly with the Sixth Grade Skirt, Four Season Skirt, or Sandbox Shorts, all of which will soon be available here in my shop. You can make your top reversible for double the looks! With a velcro closure in back, it's easy on and off for little hands. This pattern is also a perfect starter pattern for girls that want to learn to sew for their dolls, or for more experienced seamstresses to make a basic doll wardrobe with lots of options.

Skill level: Easy

This classic but simple top is very easily made from a quarter yard of fabric (quilter's fat quarters work great!) in a woven cotton or other lightweight fabric. Mix and match your fabrics and trims for unlimited design options.

Your instant download file will include full color photos, full sized pattern pieces and directions. Just print and sew!

This pattern was specifically designed and tested on 14 inch dolls such as WellieWishers™ by American Girl ®. My dolls have a waist measurement of 6 inches. Please measure and test the fit on your own doll as there are many on the market and it may not fit the same on all of them.

This pattern will fit a Hearts forHearts or Les Cheries doll as well.

I love Oh Sew Kat! Patterns. The directions are easy to follow with lots of pictures for visual effects. I use all of these patterns to make outfits for my granddaughters Wellie Wisher Doll and her 18” dolls. I especially love the alternative choices she suggests for making these clothes so you can buy one pattern and get several completely different outfits out of the same pattern.

Not an easy pattern to make. Very difficult to turn the front of the top through the shoulders because of the small size. I would say this is more of an medium skill level pattern than easy.
