wonderful dress for special occasions
Beautiful dress! Thank you!
Please please please make a pattern of this in bigger sizes! This dress is so beautiful! I think it would be great for tweens as a special occasion dress.
I love this dress! All the ruffles makes me think of Fancy Nancy and both my daughter and I love that! My daughter is 6 yrs old and tall and skinny so I usually get dresses 2 sizes bigger for her and take in the sides but for some reason on this dress I decided to make the size 7 and the fit was absolutley perfect. I am so excited to use as a Christmas dress. Since my plans are Christmas though my only dissapointment is that the dress is sleeveless. But a cute bolero or cardigan can fix that quick and easy.
I love this dress! It's SO cute! I made the 12 month dress for my niece and tried it on a friend's daughter. It's a bit small for a 12 month, (more like a 9 month) so if your child is closer to a 9-12 month, you may want to make the size larger. A couple of things I would do differently this time around: I had to make 2 dresses because I forgot to turn page scaling off, so PLEASE check the scale before you cut! Also, I wouldn't topstitch the lining down with my machine. I caught the top ruffle a few times while I was topstitching and had to unpick a few times. So I would do it by hand or pin the ruffle down before topstitching. Enjoy the dress! I know I do!
