I love that this look is slim and a bit more sophisticated for an older girl! I did find that it ran a little slim for my daughter, but that is an easy adjustment. Great pattern!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this tutorial! I've made a ton of skirts and this is my new favorite. The skirt is trendy and fashionable and the tutorial is a breeze. The instructions are clear and the project went very quickly. I made this for my niece's six year old birthday party outfit. I absolutely adore the finished product (couldn't take my eyes off her through the whole party), received tons of compliments and will be making another today for another niece. I would be so thrilled to see this pattern/tutorial for smaller sizes, to I can make tons of these skirts for my twin two year olds.
