This is the sewing pattern that will walk you through how to sew my popular travel duffle that I sell for $169. It is a wonderful weekender bag and great to take along on your maternity stay at the hospital. It's large size (20" long by 12" wide and 12" deep) makes it perfect for many situations and modes of travel. It features one zippered pocket and one other pocket. The quilted structure and strong strap contruction makes this a super bag for hauling just about anything. Everyone has a duffle bag, but not everyone has a gorgeous duffle.
**Due to the size of the project and the materials I use, I would not recommend this for beginners.

Love this bag, it's so roomy. Really easy to make. A+
The pattern was good but costly to make.
LOVE this HUGE Duffel! I made this for my girl for all her Sleepovers! She carries her blankets and EVERYTHING in this BIG Duffel! I even entered it into our State Fair…Got a Blue for it's Class!! I know I will be making more of these too!
I'm fairly new to sewing and struggled somewhat with this patter but I will certainly try again.
Great pattern. I agree with other reviewer that this is not for beginers but is very do-able with some sewing background.
I love this pattern. I always get compliments when I travel with my bag. It goes together easily, especially if you have sewing experience, but I wouldn't attempt it without a walking foot.
I have made two of these so
Not a beginner project but if you have some sewing experience you can do this :) I used home dec fabric, fusible fleece, and canvas lining(needed an upholstery needle)
I love my new travel bags, very big and perfect for travel) and I am so glad I bought the
LOVE Studio Cherie's patterns. Think I may try to make this in a cute thick canvas.
