This roomy tote, made with either a magnetic or button closure, has two large divided interior pockets and long shoulder-length handles. Be creative with the woven embellishment by stitching lengths of ribbon, bias tape and rickrack or long scraps of your favorite cotton fabrics onto the exterior. It measures 15" long x 5" deep and 13" tall (excluding handles).

COTTON FABRIC WOVEN TOTE
•1 yard of fabric for exterior of tote and handles
(sample used Moda Linen in natural)
•1 yard of fabric for lining and interior pockets
•7 – 1/4 yards of coordinating 45” wide cotton
fabrics for exterior weaving embellishment, binding
for top edge of tote, and handle embellishment
•2 pieces of 24” x 18” of Timtex
•Invisible thread
•Thread to match exterior fabric and lining fabric
•1 magnetic closure
•Saral tracing paper and tracing wheel or any
preferable method of tracing a pattern onto fabric
(for marking weave pattern on fabric)
•Optional: Tube turner, 2” diameter decorative button
