Make a visual statement when you wear this "Sweet & Sassy" apron around the house. A Desperate Housewife you are not! By customer request, this is a Plus Sized Apron Pattern.

This is a vintage inspired full apron with a sweetheart neckline (it can be made with or without the sweetheart accent band), a dart-fitted top (to curve with your curves) and a figure-flattering A-line skirt that measures 20" (51cm) from waist to hem. It features waist ties that can either be tied in a back bow or a front knot. The neckties are fully-adjustable so the apron will fit the way you want it to.

This apron is functional as well as cute. It has the option of one or two rounded patch pocket (perfect for a recipe card, your MP3 player, or your cell phone). There is an optional towel loop that you can put at the waistline to keep your towel handy so you can dry your hands on your towel and not make a mess of your cute new apron.

Would work great as a kitchen apron for whipping up delicious food, or a hostess apron for entertaining guests.

As a bounus, this ePattern also includes:
*Additional instructions for making an a-line half's almost like getting two patterns for the price of one!
*Both customary unit (yards, inches, etc.) and metric unit (centimeters) measurements

This apron design was tested on a variety of shapes and sizes and the pattern prints two sizes (Large and Extra Large). The approximate off the rack dress sizes range from 14 to 28. It was made to fit the following measurements:

Bust - Between 39" and 46" (99cm and 117cm)
Waist - Between 30" and 40" (76cm and 102cm)
Hips - Between 39" and 48" (99cm and 122cm)

Extra Large:
Bust - Between 48" and 54" (122cm and 137cm)
Waist - Between 41" and 46" (104cm and 117cm)
Hips - Between 48" and 56" (122cm and 142cm)

I like the pattern, but the skirt instructions were lacking, I made the skirt like I thought it should be but is is gathered and doesn't look like the picture it is fuller so it is nicer but takes more fabric.

Other Supplies:
Thread to Match
A Good Pair of Scissors and Sewing Pins
A Sewing Machine (not a serger)
A Ruler (a sewing ruler is nice, but any ruler that’s at least 12" [30 cm] in length will work fine)
A Fabric Marking Pen or Pencil (can use a regular graphite pencil in a pinch)
A “Dull Pointed” Object (anything like a crochet hook, a chopstick, a very dull pencil, etc. - This will be used to make nice points at the ends of your waist ties)
A Straight Long Skinny Object - a ½" to 3/4" [1.5 to 2 cm] wooden dowel works best, but if you don’t have a dowel you can use a long spoon handle, a thick crochet hook, or a clean broom handle for turning your ties.
