Cute, simple, fast and easy to fit!
Use your favorite fabrics to create a beautiful fitting Wrap top or dress. This dress or top can be made in less than two hours. There are no zippers or buttons to haggle with. Sleeves are built into the pattern for easy sewing. Spend your time taking pictures of your princess instead of mulling through complicated sewing instructions.
Fabric for Shirt- 3/4 to 1 yard of main fabric.
Fabric for Dress- 1 yard to 1 1/8 yard of main fabric.
1/8 yard for ruffle & mid-strip.
1/2 yard for dress hem strip.
4 cuts of 10 inch long ribbon.
1 package of bias tape.
I made the dress, but shortened it quite a bit, and left off the ruffle. I found that it didn't fit well across the front and gaped open at the cross-over. I'm not sure I will make this again.
Such a cute dress. I made a couple as gifts for my niece.
Cute and easy. Love the options for it
Everyone loves it. Easy and quick to make.
this is one of my favorite patterns!!! girly without going overboard :)
This pattern is super awesome, because I was able to custom make a dress for my friend's daughter who can't ever fit right in store bought clothes. She is super skinny, but tall. The bodice is made separate from the skirt, so I was able to make the bodice smaller in size and match it up to the length skirt she needed, which was a larger size. It fit her perfectly! Thanks for a great pattern! Super easy to understand, by the way.
Easy to make and very stylish!
Love this top/dress so easy to sew.
Easy to make, I didnt sew ruffles but my grandd is very happy with her new dress. Thanks!!
Made four of these in two days for my four grand-daughters with their mother. I think this is a great pattern to teach young girls how to sew. The color coding is very nice to differentiate sizes. It's a snap to cut out with scissors and a rotary cutting set. This dress pattern is so versatile. I only sewed the ruffles up to the shoulder seam on one side because I didn't want the ruffles tucked under the other side and adding bulk. It was easy to sew the ruffle into the shoulder seam. I learned to move the ties back at least an inch so the dress could be tied tighter and more modestly. The girls love their dresses.
Great of directions and very easy to follow!
Made a great Easter dress with this pattern. Thank you!
This pattern is super easy, always comes out beautiful and has brought so much joy to my daughters!
You MUST get it!
LOVE LOVE LOVE This pattern! We still haven't found the perfect fit for my daughter as she has trouble keeping the ties closed, and the materials I've chosen (apparel fabrics - 100% cotton) have resulted in heavy dresses that get very hot for her. Keep in mind HOW MUCH fabric there is in the end with this dress.
Great top or dress. Love it!!!
Love this pattern!
Makes such a cute dress. Can't wait to make another one.
Instructions are great.
Made a very cute shirt still looking forward to making the dress.
Enjoyed this pattern! Great instructions for a very pretty dress!!
I really like this pattern and it was easy to follow but for some reason the arm holes were really small
I AdoRE this dress
This was very easy to make and so adorable! There are so many color combinations to make! The directions were easy to follow and my daughter loves it! I did button and button holes instead of the tie at the side and we pinned a big flower over the top! LOVE IT!!
made this for a friend's daughter & it turned out great! she loved it & it was easy to put together!
This was very time consuming but came out beautifully.
Great pattern with clear directions. Turned out adorable!

DGD just loves this so sweet.
Very easy pattern. Great instructions. Thanks!
This pattern was love the wrap style.
Very cute. Wanted to make a dress but was short on fabric so I made a top. It was cute but ran a little small, next time I'll go up a size!
I made this dress in no time. Very easy to follow and sew. Great pattern.
makes a cut dress
I love this dress, it was simple to make and with all the details it looks adorable on!
Love it, thank you so much!
I love this pattern.
LOVE the pattern and the outcome. Was a little more time consuming since I was making three at the same time. It was worth it in the end, though!
This was the very first pattern I tried after I decided that I wanted to learn to sew. It was very easy to understand, and believe me I was a BEGINNER!! I have made it a few times since and it really gets easier every time.
Easy to follow with lots of pictures! As a beginning sewer, I was able to put this together easily and successfully! I haven't made it as a dress yet but someday soon I hope to...
so cute and fun to make. Very versatile. Looks good even with something underneath.
I've made this several times and in several sizes. For some reason, the armholes come out too small, but I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong. Don't let that discourage you because it's a very cute and versatile dress!
Love this pattern. It is so easy and looks great. I did cut the sleeves a little larger as some kids need a little more room in that area.
Love this pattern. It can be used for so many sizes that you can make matching sister outfits.
Great pattern! Love that I could use it for a top or a dress!
I am so pleased with this pattern. I had purchasd a few other e-patterns around the same time and this one was by far the BEST. The clear and organized format made this simple for even a beginner like myself. I appreciated the glossary, charts, and formatting. It is even COLOR CODED by size! The step by step illustrated instructions were very clear in comparison to the "stream of conscious", broadstroke style of other patterns. Thank you for making it possible for a beginner to make such a NON-"dum-dum" style. The dress and top look fantastic on my girls and received several complements. I will most certainly be using this pattern again!
I love this!!! Will be making many more :)
This went together really really easily, perfect for a beginning sewer because even if you make a mistake it is very easy to rectify....I made some modifications per ther request of my tween and I had to upsize it to a 12 and here it is http://momtasticstitchery.blogspot.com/2008/11/365-challenge-15-whew-skulls-are.html Thanks good pattern keep up the good work....i will make the dress one in a day or so and post it to my blog.
Wonderful pattern! It sewed very well and the instructions were easily understood. My daughter loves her new dress.
My daughter LOVES this top! Haven't made it as a dress yet but the pattern is so easy that I'm sure that I will. Love Patchworkids patterns! Modest but current in fashion; really great pattern.
