I haven't made this yet, but it is cute and looks easy enough.
Beautiful pattern! Detailed and clear instructions.
Loved this pattern. I made it in knit just leaving the back as one piece, omitting the lining and binding the neckline and armholes. It is very similar to some pricey Matilda Jane dresses now. Easy to sew, great instructions.
I have made this dress for my daughter several times and she loves it! The fit is great! I did cheat a little and used ribbon in the back for the button loops and it actually looks really cute that way.
I made this dress for my daughter and we loved it! Unlike the previous review I found the pattern to fit well and even with a little room =) it was well written with lots of ideas on how to change the look of the front. I will be making lots of these in the future!
easy to follow pattern, great looking dress
I love this dress. I have two of them so far and they have turned out perfect. Such a pretty style that lets you use lots of different fabrics to create a on-of-a-kind dress.
Very easy to follow! I just finished one for my 4yo for Easter. She loves it. I have a small kid, wearing commercial sizes 18-24 months and I went with the size 3 top and the measurements for a size 4 skirt piece. It's a bit baggy but it is comfy and she loves it!
love this pattern
Love this dress!!
I made this dress a couple of weeks ago. It turned out great and I've already planned to make a couple more of them. The directions were easy to follow. It is for my niece and I haven't tried it on her yet. I won't cut out the others that I have planned until I can get her to try this one on. Turned out super cute though!
I love this dress. I shortened it a little and made it into a top. I made it during nap time and I still have time to spare. Not sure about fit yet, but it looks like it will be a little big.
I made one of these dresses for my daughter, a size 6, and it turned out very well! Unlike the previous reviewer, I found the top to be very true to size.
The pattern was well-written, with all steps covered. Have no fear trying out this beautiful gem! My little girl loves the ruffled "wings," too.
I made three of these dresses for my granddaughters and they turned out darling. HOWEVER, the top pieces are much smaller than they should be. I made two size 4 and one size 6 (these little girls are quite thin and are just barely in store bought size 4 and 6) and the chest, neck and arm holes were all too small. So small infact that they can't wear them. I will make more of these dresses, they are darling, but make sure you cut the top pieces at least two sizes bigger than you normally would.
