“I made this bear for my daughter a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday I made two outfits. I have very little sewing experience and I think my bear turned out pretty good. The pattern was very easy to follow even for someone with limited sewing ability. My sister even asked me to make one for her daughter!”
This teddy bear is made of only three pattern pieces! Quick and inexpensive to sew for those last-minute gifts. With your extra time whip up a wardrobe of pants, bloomers, top, dress and hairbow with the included patterns and instructions. Easy for children to dress.
Made from snuggly fleece and polyfill, plus the embellishments you give him - button, embroidered, or safety eyes and nose, and easy to embroider mouth with step by step diagram given.
Finished size: 15" (fits most store bought clothing for 15" bears such as Build A Bear)
Recommended sewing level: Advanced beginner (ability to sew straight and curved lines, and for dress/top, ability to turn a small sewn item right side out).

• 1/2 yard polyester fleece (standard width 58”-60” wide) makes 3 bears. Other fabrics may be used but instructions assume the use of fleece.
• Polyfill stuffing
• 100% polyester thread recommended for sewing fleece to prevent thread breakage
• Embroidery thread and needle for adding facial features
• Optional: safety eyes, safety nose; awl for punching insertion hole, or buttons, beads, felt circles etc. for eyes/nose if the toy is for older children.
• For clothing: scraps of fabric; ¼” elastic; small pieces of Velcro® or similar hook and loop tape.
