“Other than the difficulty I encountered in working with the tulle, the dress was easy to put together and is absolutely adorable. I must state than I am a self-taught beginner and think my inexperience was the biggest problem. Looking forward to making more once I am more comfortable with sewing!”

Tana Tutu Dress by Nanoo Designs is a fun sundress in 4 sizes (1-4) with two strap styles and instructions for a single or double tulle ruffle. Also included is a bonus section on how to make fabric headbands like the ones on the cover.

There are 13 pages of instructions with 54 pictures for the dress and two pages of headband instructions with 22 pictures.

This is the first item of clothing I have ever made. I have only taken 1 2h sewing class at the local hs adult ed program. The directions are clear, simple, precise and methodical. The pictures are a lifesaver. The finished product is anything but simple. The result is gorgeous. I am going to make them for a few little girls in my family as birthday presents, this dress came out so nicely. You can think up so many themes, combinations. Also, having 4 size patterns enables me to use this pattern for a few years. I highly recommend this pattern.

I have made many, many of these cute little dresses and everyone has loved them! This is an "out of the box" project for me since I mainly sew heirloom clothing, and I have thoroughly enjoyed putting together fun prints and bright colors, funky ribbons, and bright colored tulle! Thanks for such a cute pattern and so easy to make, too!
