This sweet little sunsuit pattern is adorable for babies and toddler girls. It has a lot of fullness in the body and stretch in the legs and on the back band. Plus, you'll learn to make and tie this fantastic bow!
This has to be my favorite pattern so far this summer! I have made two of these for my grand baby so far. I am an experienced seamstress and was a little confused on the cutting instructions. It was not clear to me that the first cut on the list would be the bottom part of the bloomer that I would place the cutting template on. A cutting diagram with the explanation that the cutting template will be placed on the larger piece of fabric would be helpful. Otherwise I loved the pattern. I did use size 4 snaps on the straps instead of buttons.
Love this pattern. It is easy to follow and makes up very cute.
1 yard fabric Rickrack–optional
thread 6" piece of matching 1" ribbon
½ yard ¼” elastic -for legs
½-1 yard elastic-for suit back-see notes
2 buttons-½” or ¾” for straps 2 buttons, snaps or snap tape for crotch
