This dress is stunning with its two layer ruffle sleeves that get adjusted with sweet satin ribbon and ties into a pretty bow. The bow can sit in the front or back. The bottom hem features a uniquely sewn double ruffle which is more dimensional than generic double ruffles. Comfy elastic surrounds the chest and ensures a perfect fit. This dress will fit for a long time, now as dress, later as tunic, then as a top!
It fits for sizes newborn through 12 girls.
The tutorial contains a cutting chart for those sizes and yardage plus a finished dress length.
You want to have intermediate sewing skills to make this dress. It is an easy sew and the end results will amaze you!
I'm finally able to post a review. Kind YCMT people helped me through it. This pattern is beyond any I've ever made. I have 5 great granddaughters so my goal is Christmas dresses for all. All patterns featured on this site are the best you will find anywhere. AND they are there to help us "ding bats".
Love the style of this little dress. I haven't made it for my granddaughter yet, but I do have the fabric and will start it very soon.
