Summer Stars quilt captures the joys of a summer night. The big dipper shines in the patchwork sky, helping the children below capture fireflies. The top of the quilt is a patchwork of blue, the bottom is a panel from Sarah Jane for Michael Miller Fabrics.

The stars are sewn with raw edge applique. The finish is a ruffled rag edge. This gives the quilt a relaxed folk style.

This pattern includes 7 pages of complete easy to follow numbered step by step directions, photos and full size printable patterns. The pattern is written with metric units in parenthesis. If you have any questions or concerns about the pattern please contact me at jhaneymdquilter [!at]
