Cute nightgown. The placket gave me issues. Also the doll version was hard to get on and off as there wasn't enough ease. I would suggest sewing the dolly version from a knit maybe to get on? Or add a velcro closure at the back.
My favorite go to nightgown!
Cute pattern. I did size up and added a little length tot the torso, but overall a good pattern.
I have made this for the pickiest of Princesses and they have ALL loved it! THis year I gave all our daughters friend's a gown of their choice. It is SUPER simple and easy to follow. I even made a Mrs. Claus outfit using it and it was a HUGE hit. She was the belle of the ball (or musical).WONDERFUL design - thank you!
Love the look of this pattern. The placket was a big tricky, but with a little perseverance we worked it out!
It's very cute but I had to make several adjustments. The placket was a little awkward and I had to really lengthen the suggested length for the size I needed. All in all I will make this cute.
It's adorable, but a tight fit. Make at least one size up from what they're measuring! It's pretty much an *exact* fit, which means that getting it on and off is a challenge. It doesn't help that Gracie hit a growth spurt between when I made it the week before Christmas and now when she first wore it, so the sleeves are now too short. I'll be making it again, just with a bigger size for ease, and probably alter it for a back placket as well to make it easier to get on and off. (I'd expected the average 2 inch ease, and it just wasn't there.)
I really enjoyed making this pattern, though I did have some issues with the button placket. My daughter is also longer in the torso, and although I made a size larger for her so she could wear it longer, she still struggled getting both arms into the armholes. I plan on lengthening the bodice to help accommodate this issue on her.
I definitely plan on making more, though!!! I have gotten lots of compliments on it.
