Pattern is adorable but the directions can be a bit confusing. I've found that reviewing them & printing them with my notes on them really did help clear up some of the confusion.
I really wanted to love this pattern. It's so cute and since I love monkeys and sock monkeys especially, I knew I had to have it. That being said, this is one of those patterns that would really benefit from a video tutorial. There are a lot of steps, many of which are confusing. Fleece is hard to unpick, especially the lightweight fleece I chose to use for this hat, so that was a bummer.
The pictures are too small to be able to tell exactly what is going on. I felt like there should have been more/different pictures of some of the steps, that is why a video would have helped. After a few hours of fiddling I did get it figured out, and the result is adorable.
Now that I know better what I am supposed to do making additional hats will be much easier.
So cute! I knew I had to get this pattern as soon as I saw it!
