The inspiration behind this pattern was to give a wonderful working space for all your embroidery and applique work while still allowing you a sweet peasant feel. It is unique from other patterns in that it is snug to the body. The pattern does show how to line the top so nothing scratchy touches her skin.

The pattern describes how to make a dress, while giving you measurements for making it a top and ideas on how to finish your top.

There is a detailed description on how to shirr if you have not shirred before.

Included in this pattern are measurements to cut out with a ruler and then 4 pages of printable patterns for the top section of the top. Colorful pictures are all over the pages for help.

Every girl needs to feel special and this one will make her feel just like that!

*Note: These are downloadable instructions and patterns for making a dress. Since it is a download, a window will open to download and when you are signed into your user account at the time of purchase, it will also be located in the "My Library" section of your user account immediately after purchase.

used this to mesh with several other patterns make new and unique top and dresses. Was a bit disappointed in the size options, wished it went bigger. Had to grade it up for my daughter but it is well written and easy to follow

This is such a cute pattern and it turned out just great. I thought that in a couple of places the directions were just slightly confusing. Like I had trouble figuring out how she wanted you to attach the back of the skirt. But I worked it out and I am super pleased with the end results. I will definitely make this pattern over and over again.

Great pattern. Keep in mind the fitting is different than most peasant style dresses, the bodice is snug fitting like the description states.
