This is a truly great pattern. I'm from Itlay and we use metric measurements here but even so it was SO easy to sew pants in about 2 hours, it took me more to print and figure out sizes etc. than making pants! I'm sure next time it will be much quicker!

I heard so many good things about CarlaC and her patterns. I thought that it was too good to be true. I was so wrong! These pants are the easiest patterns that i have ever used. The directions are put so that my 9 year old daughter can even sew pants not only for herself but for her siblings also. My first pair took me about 2 hours because I kept doubting that I was doing it right. Now 1 week later and about 20 pairs later I can make a pair of pants in a 30 minutes or less! I have made this pattern SOOOOO many times. My children virtually live in these pants. Fantastic for sleepwear with the wider fit. I do tend to use a size down for the waist as I have slender children (so a size 5 with a size 3 or 4 waist for my eldest). I'm used to customising for them though! Yes, these can be made up in about 30 minutes once the pattern is traced & ready to go. This pattern is SUPER as is for p.j. bottoms & super casual pants or shorts. However, for true boutique wear, adjusted the rise in the pattern (thus now have 2 patterns pieces instead of 1) so there would be an obvious front & back as I don't like all the extra fabric poofing out in the front. All in all, great pattern; wonderfully thorough instructions. My 7 year old made a pair all by herself - except the ironing. They are that easy to do!

This is my favorite pants pattern..I have bought others, but yours is my favorite ! I had to alter the pattern to adjust the rise. I had too many people complain their girls felt like their pants were falling off. I made a pair for my daughter and sure enough it barely covered her diaper in pictures. I added an inch or two to the top of the pattern and bingo, alot better fit !

So fast and fun! I love this pattern to bits. I almost never make my daughter a dress without a pair of these for underneath these days. They also make great PJ pants for her and dolly to match. I have made quite a few pairs of shorts and pants for my son from this pattern as well. Absolutely one of my favorite patterns ever, hands down!
