Tiered Flouncy Sundress- Sizes 2-10
Description
You can make this adorable flouncy sundress or top with a trendy tiered design! It looks lovely with alternating tiers of only 2 fabrics, or as many as 5 can be used for a really fun mix-it-up effect. Shorten it by following the included instructions, and you have an adorable tiered top she'll love. This is a great pattern for showcasing your favorite fabric coordinates, or mixing up your fabric stash in a whole new way!
The only needed materials for constructing the dress are fabric and bias tape - no fasteners are needed - and instructions are given for making your own bias tape from fabric if purchased bias tape is not used. Once you learn to make your own bias tape, you'll never go back to purchased! Perfect for beginning sewers on up.

2-5 coordinating fabrics, double fold bias tape (optional), printer with regular 8.5" x 11" paper, standard sewing equipment and supplies: sewing machine, scissors, thread, measuring tape, etc.

I am SO pleased with how easy this dress came together and by how beautiful it is. This is a unique way of assembling a dress with an amazing result. The explanations for making your own bias tape from a fat quarter are a huge blessing to me, well worth the cost of the pattern. One fat quarter was more than enough bias tape for the size 8 dress. There will be many more of these sweet dresses made in my house!

I LOVE this pattern! I went on a recent pattern shopping spree and this sundress is my favorite to sew! My daughter loves wearing it, too! When she says it's fast and easy to sew up, she isn't kidding! I have very little patience for sewing clothes, but this pattern has turned me around! Awesome Beginner dress, I made it for my daughter for her 2nd birthday. easy to adjust, no hemming, no buttons, no zippers. Plan to make a few as gifts. oh and uses minimal fabric. great scrap project too.
