The Simple Sunbonnet is easy to construct and takes less than a yard of fabric. Make it in cottons for the hot beach sun or in soft corduroy for the brilliant fall sunshine. Can be made from one fabric or two or even reversible for double the fun. Three sizes included: infant-12 months; 18 months-3 yrs; & 4-6 yrs.
There are different versions of bonnets included. Lined, unlined and reversible. Complete directions are included for the lined bonnet so if your making the reversible pattern you need to keep referring to a different page for instructions. For example-to sew crown see page 2 follow #3 for instructions. Too confusing to flip back and forth for instructions. Also, I would make the ties skinnier for the infant bonnet.
