This simple skirt can be made with less than a half yard of fabric and a small piece of fabric for a coordinating pocket. Put one together for your little girl in less than an hour. This skirt also makes a great gift! A perfect pattern for beginner sewers. A comfortable elastic waist completes this everyday little skirt.

Materials needed:

1/2 yard of light or mid-weight fabric
Suggestions: cotton, twill, linen, light corduroy
A piece of 1" elastic (length depending on the waist size)
Optional RikRak or lace.
Coordinating fabric piece for optional pocket.
Coordinating thread.

Sizes that can be made:
12M, 2T, 3T, 4T, 5T

Great pattern for all the measurements. The skirts aren't very long length but just perfect for toddlers. The little pocket is a sweet touch.

Very quick to put together and easy to use cotton or heavier fabrics for cooler months.
