This PDF pattern is great for beginners. Even if you have never touched a sewing pattern before, you can make this one! Elastic waistband and a low-rise fit (1" below the waist line) make this skirt conveniently comfortable. Create any look with this skirt. Depending on your fabric choice, make it casual or dress it up. It's all yours! Falls below the knee.

This is a LEVEL 1 pattern.
Our LEVEL 1 patterns are great for the one who has never sewn, but has a good understanding of how her sewing machine works. And, of course if you know how to sew this is going to be very easy for you.

Fits Hip Measurements from 35" - 46"
To find the measurement for your hips, wrap a flexible measuring tape around the fullest part of your hip area.

MATERIALS AND NOTIONS NEEDED:
--2 yards of fabric (for skirt)*
--1/2 yard of fabric (for sash)*
--1 yard of 1/2" wide elastic
--matching thread
--scissors
--pins
--iron

*Suggested fabric: 45" wide broadcloth or quilting type fabric. For the sash, any airy type of lightweight cotton fabric is best (i.e. cotton lawn, muslin, etc.).
