“I made one of these for a Christmas gift and it came out adorable.”

This precious sheep doll is very easy to make. The doll is 14” tall by 17” across with arms outspread. Your favorite little girl or boy will love carrying this sweet little doll around (sew ribbon bow under the face for a boy). It is perfect for little hands to hold. The eyes are embroidered and there aren’t any attached embellishments which makes it safe for babies (although, babies should always be watched carefully with toys). Ribbon bow is optional. Do not attach bow for a baby or small child. Sample Doll is made from chenille fabric (body), cotton fabric (face, legs, arms and outside ears) and fleece (inside ears). Chenille and fleece are optional - you can use all cotton fabrics for doll.

MATERIALS NEEDED TO MAKE ONE DOLL:

-Chenille fabric – 10” x 16” rectangle for body (cotton fabric can be substituted)
-Light to medium weight cotton stripe/print fabric – 1/4 yard for arms, legs and ears
-Light to medium weight pink cotton print fabric – 1 1/4” x 2” rectangle for cheek circles
-Light to medium weight cotton solid fabric – 3” x 4 1/2” rectangle for face
-Fleece fabric – 4” x 6” rectangle for inside ears
-Iron-on fusible web for face and cheeks – one 1 1/4” x 2” rectangle and one 3” x 4 1/2” rectangle
-Polyester fiberfill stuffing
-Coordinating sewing thread
-Embroidery floss – white, and color for eyes and embroidered details on face
-OPTIONAL: 1/2 yard of 7/8” wide satin ribbon for bow

There are six pages of instructions, two pages of patterns and twenty-one photographs.
