“Super adorable!! Super must have!!”

This precious apron is so pretty and easy to make! Instructions are included to make the apron in three children’s sizes – 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8. It can be made in several styles – with a small pocket, ruffled skirt or crayon pocket. It can also be made as a half or full apron. The apron is made from fabric rectangles with a ribbon neck strap, waistband and ties. Bias tape is sewn around the small pocket (detailed instructions are included for sewing the bias tape). Medium weight cotton fabrics were used for the sample aprons.

This PDF e-pattern includes measurements for apron rectangles, pattern for pocket, detailed materials list, clear instructions written in English and step-by-step photographs.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

-44/45” Cotton solid or print fabrics – 3/8 yard for apron bib & skirt, 1/8 yard for bands at top & bottom of apron, 3/8 yard for lining (white muslin was used for lining on sample aprons), 1/4 yard for small pocket & fabric bow (optional), 1/4 yard for ruffled top skirt (optional), two 9” contrasting squares for crayon pocket (optional)
-1” Ribbon – 3 yards (grosgrain & woven pink check were used for sample aprons)
