Great directions and my favorite peasant top pattern. My little girl pranced around in her dress all evening the day I made it. Will be making more of these!

Such a very easy pattern to follow. It's a little time intensive with the elastic casings and all. I've made 2 dresses so far (3-1/2 hours on first dress and nearly 3 hours on second dress--sewing time only) and they both turned out nice. I made a size 3 for my niece and it came out perfect. I made a size 8 for my daughter and the skirt comes down too low--all the way to the waist line. The pictures clearly show that the bodice and skirt joins between the bust and waist line. Maybe it's just an issue in the bigger sizes? From now on, I'll baste the skirt to the bodice and try it on BEFORE I stitch it and make the elastic casing. Other than that, I have no other issues. I love the way the dress turns out.

Turned out REALLY cute. Easy to make, did stitch down the sash so it was a little more secure, but otherwise adorable.
