Add a little pomp and pageantry to her wardrobe with our “Sophie Jacket” PDF sewing pattern. What a wonderful way to add warmth and style to her next outfit. This easy to follow PDF sewing pattern is a cinch to create, even for beginners. Best of all, you can create your own unique creations using a variety of fabrics and trims. You can use this pattern to make a cool casual top, rain jacket or even a heavier winter coat. Create a different jacket for her to wear every day of the week! You’ll love how much money you’ll save and the quality craftsmanship of handmade clothing far outweighs what is available in stores. For the sewing enthusiast, you might even choose to sell your custom creations online. This is a My Little Plumcake original design.
This is our easiest pattern yet and is perfect for beginners!! No sleeves to sew, no fuss. If you have ever sewn clothing before, you will be able to finish this in one afternoon. It really is that easy!
This children’s jacket is fully lined with button embellishments. The coat stays together with two snaps under the buttons on top and a belt that wraps around the waist. You could even skip the belt and use a cute ribbon. This practical jacket pattern can truly be used over and over again.
The PDF tutorial includes:
- Over 50 descriptive photos
- Printable pattern pieces for each size from 18 months to size 8
- Instructions on how to cut pattern pieces
- Fabric requirements and suggestions
- Materials list
- Simple, step by step instructions
I am completely surprised the Sophie Jacket does not have a review yet! This is a 10 star review for many reasons but my biggest reasons are how well the instructions are done AND how classy this jacket came out once it was made. Your own jacket will look just as pretty as the pattern picture! Not many patterns will do this. Thank you Michelle at Plumcake!!!
