If your not planning a trip, but you want to start sewing, this is a great starter project. Takes about an hour or two, depending on your experience. The PDF has step-by-step detailed instructions, which also includes a section on making your own Bias Tape.
This PDF has clear text descriptions and illustrations on page 2 & 3, pages 4-8 are the pattern pieces, page 9 are the transfer icons (to be printed on transfer paper) and page 10-11 are the full colored images taking you step-by-step. This PDF will save you ink, because you don't have to print all of the colored images to follow along.

✤This is a great project for someone who has sewn from a pattern before or is new to sewing.
Excellent pattern and very easy to make! Nice to carry when traveling!
I really liked the pattern and it is a great idea. The pattern was simple to follow and is a quick project. I have never sewn with bias tape and had trouble with that part. My project did not come out like I had hoped but that is due to my inexperience with the not sewing bias tape the proper way. Would reccomend this pattern though, it s very good. I will make another attempt at it because i think that it would make a great gift for anyone who is going to travel.
These are cute but I would rather have my closure point in the middle rather than towards the top.
Cute little pattern. These are super helpful when traveling internationally.
Nice pattern. Had fun on our spring break adventure with these travel folders.
