This Panda bear aviator hat is so soft and adorable. He’s made out of fleece with the option of having a single fleece lining or a lining of fleece with cotton on top.
The hat is so easy to make-even for beginners! The ties are made of fleece strips braided together. A special tutorial is included on how to make fool proof thick pompoms. You can keep warm in this hat and look really cute doing it!
This PDF e-pattern includes full size patterns, a materials list, instructions written in English, and step-by-step photographs. The hats will fit many sizes from infants to adults. Eleven sizes are included in the patterns.

Love this pattern but the directions can be a tad confusing. Just printed them up - reviewed & added my notes so that I was less confused. The steps are worth it as you will have this amazingly adorable hat unlike anyone else's!

Materials List
Fleece-14” x 28” for head (if making an all fleece lining, you will need two of these) white (any color could be used here, but make sure that it is a lighter shade than used for the ears and eyes); 9” X 28” (if making a two piece lining); 3 ½” X 3 ½” white for mouth (if using a different color for head, use the same color here); 2-2 ½” X 3 ½” black (or darker shade to match different color head) 2-4 ½” X 4” (for each eye patch) black (or darker shade to match different color head)
Cotton fabric in coordinating color-10” X 28” if making a 2 piece lining
Yarn in coordinating colors for pompom (see pompom tutorial)
Black buttons-2-1/2” diameter for eyes, ½” black for nose
White buttons-2-5/8” diameter for eyes
Pinch of batting
Embroidery thread-2-ply black, 2-ply white
Sewing thread to match fleece
