Sew fitted or comfy Onesies with this baby onesie pattern
This is a sewing pattern to make your own baby onesies.
Make them with Long sleeves, short sleeves or sleeveless (tank top).
The onesie pattern includes sizes:
Each size has 2 patterns: one is for fitted sizing and one is for comfy sizing. The ftted size onesies are perfect if you want a nicely fitted onsie on an average size baby. The comfy size onesies are great for babies who have extra large tummys or thighs or just for the mom who likes the baggier style.
Also included in this onesie pattern are instructions for a short sleeve, long sleeve and sleeveless onesie.
Make these baby onesies with a regular sewing machine. However, if you had a serger, I have optional serger directions as well. No serger is needed though. The pattern is designed to fit babies from 0-36 months. It is accurate sizing with real babies.
This onsie pattern is the easiest available ANYWHERE. There aren't any unexpected or unexplained steps. Every step is very clearly detailed with a crisp image to help explain the step. You will definitely get it right the first time! The pattern includes helpful hints as well as great ideas on where to get fabrics for cheap or for free!

Onesies turned out unique and beautiful. Thanks for easy to follow instructions.
Instructions were easy to follow. The onesies looked like they were store bought, but with custom embroidery (that were added before stitching the pieces together).
Very easy to follow along. I have made several onesies using this pattern. I made one adjustment - curved the edges of the front and back flaps, doubled the leg binding and added 4" to that amount to get the total length. I prefer the more finished look that gives. Thanks for the great pattern!
This is an excellent pattern. I've made a bunch, all three styles of the fitted onesie, and they turned out great! I tried a few other patterns and they turned out big and baggy, but these look like what you would buy in the store. I'm a beginner and thought the directions were easy to follow and loved the pictures. Thanks!
Made sewing with interlock seem not as scary! LOL. Came out great, love the pattern, will be my go to baby gift from now on!
Very easy. I've made several. I used Velcro instead of snaps.
It was easy to make. I like all the different sizes. I did a newborn and the biggest size and they seem pretty true to size.
LOVE It, use it to up-cycle old shirts!
Easy to do, fun, outcome is great! SO much better than store bought! lol You have to try it!
This Pattern is such a necessity. Can't wait to make ton's of these.
I'm very happy with this and can't wait to make tons of them! thank you! Anita
Another baby gift, so I cannot comment on fit. But it is well written, goes together quickly and I LOVE having the different options.
First off, I had problems getting this to print and this designer was so awesome!! Quick communication and was extremely patient along with the websites person. After all of this was figured out, I was able to make this with no problem and it turned out great! Highly recommend this pattern. Thanks so much!
Knit fabric (think stretchy - jersey, fleece, etc)
