All six of the projects in this book are designed to be fun and easy; the types of projects that are ideal for children and adults who are fairly new to sewing and working with fabric, but also the types of projects that can be completed quickly and with very little fuss for those more experienced in sewing. Some of the patterns include hand sewing; some machine stitching. The projects in this book are excellent projects for teaching children to sew. Imagine sewing with your son or daughter, grandson or granddaughter, side by side! All of the projects in this book also make fun and easy gifts that would be well-loved by the recipient. Each project has a special blend of heart and personality you’ll want to share, but you’ll also want to hold onto.

Every pattern in this book comes with a list of the exact items you’ll need for that specific project. Most of these projects can be completed with fabric remnants and scraps. If you do a lot of crafting and sewing, there’s a good chance you already have what you need. If not, the items you’ll need are pretty basic. Some projects require buttons, ribbon, seed beads, colored threads or fiberfill. A few require special tools and items, such as pinking shears, grommet pliers, a glue gun or craft foam. Refer to each pattern for the list of items needed to make that project.
