I love patterns that allow me to use a variety of prints. This garment can be done with just one print, of course, but you can also make it really fun by using a different print for each part of the dress. In addition, a few basic changes in the construction of the garment will achieve a variety of looks. In this pattern, I’ve included 2 bodice options and variations for the skirt of the dress. I’ve also included instructions for making this in multiple lengths from short top to tunic to tea length dress. The dress has elastic in back for a flexible fit. The straps button to the bodice back just above the sash bow.
I’ve been sewing for 30+ years and have enjoyed trying many new techniques along the way. I wrote this eBook for most levels of sewers, from confident beginner to advanced.
