Funky Flower Headband Pattern
Description
This funky wide style headband is both stylish and comfortable to wear. With the yo-yo flower attached it is snazzy enough for the very best of occasions, or without the flower it is perfect for everyday wear. When the headband is made without the flower it is also reversible – so you get two headbands in one!
It is designed to be made out of non-stretchy fabric – perfect for using up all those cotton scraps. It has elastic at the back enclosed in a fabric casing.
They are so quick and easy to make you could make one to co-ordinate with every outfit!
The headband is suitable for both children and adults.

• A detailed tutorial with step by step instructions and colour photographs.
• Full size pattern pieces printable on A4/letter size paper.
• A list of materials required.
• Sizes 6 months to adult.

Materials
Headband - with flower (using same fabric both sides):
• 35cm (14”) fabric for headband and small yo-yo
• 20cm (8”) fabric for large yo-yo and button covering
• 16.5cm (6½”) length of 2cm (3/4”) wide elastic
• 7/8” self cover button
Headband - without flower (reversible):
• 20cm (8”) fabric for side A of headband
• 20cm (8”) fabric for side B of headband
• 16.5cm (6½”) length of 2cm (3/4”) wide elastic
Other requirements:
• Matching thread
• Pins
• Hand sewing needle
• Scissors
• Hot glue gun (optional)
Requirements are based on fabric 112cm (44”) wide.

My daughter now thinks she needs one to match every outfit I make her. Unlike most headbands this one she doesn't have trouble keeeping on her head. Easy to follow pattern.
