It is Halloween Night. In the meadow, a crescent moon shines on the weeping willow tree. A black cat and an orange pumpkin share the night. Snuggle under this warm quilt and enjoy the season with them.
Moonlight on the Weeping Willow Tree is created with a wickedly simple design. The central panel is assembled and quilted, then the sides are assembled and quilted. The tree and moon are made from a reverse applique, so easy to do. The applique and the quilting are done at the same time. There is no binding; the edges are finished by sewing all around and then clipping the edges to fray.
Every step in this quilt was planned to create the most beautiful quilt possible in the most efficient way possible. The pattern includes clear step by step numbered directions, photographs and full size pattern appliques
