“This was such a fun project. I couldn't believe how the use of crayons brought the design to life.

I added a 2" quilted border of orange, lightly patterned fabric around the muslin. Then I finished my project with a loop of black grosgrain ribbon attached to the the top centre border with an orange and black button. It is now hanging on my front door with the loop on a suction cup.

I feel happy to arrive home and find this cheery design greeting me.”

October quilt block is a fun and whimsical Halloween themed stitchery designed for all quilters and embroiderers. This block is the first in a series of monthly quilt blocks. Each block measures to be approximately 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches.
