“This is such a cute pattern.”

This wall hanging is made up to be fun! It is perfect for hanging in a sewing or craft room. The images are hand appliqued but you can machine applique if you prefer.


You can use my patterns for personal use and to make things that you sell from your website, online shops, and craft shows.

All photos were taken by me, and all illustrations, pattern pieces, and instructions were created by me. You can not redistribute the pattern, images, or photos in any way. You also can not claim the finished item as your own design.

1/2 yard tea dyed muslin for quilt blocks
3/8 yard fabric for sashing and borders
3/4 yard fabric for backing and rod pocket
1/3 yard fabric for binding
5/8 yard fleece (I used Pellon brand, found in the (sold by the yard) interfacing section)
Fabric scraps as follows:
5” x 6” – mug
3” x 5” – zig zag accents on mug
3” x 5” – marshmallow fluff on mug
5” x 6” – sewing machine
3” x 4” – both wheels on the sewing machine
2” x 2” – spool of thread for sewing machine
5” x 7” – pincushion
3” x 5” – top of pincushion & needle sharpener
11” x 11” – MOM CAVE letters
Embroidery floss to match scrap fabrics, plus black and grey
Sewing thread to match fabrics
10 – beads, appx 4 MM size
3 – 1/2” buttons for mug
2 – 1/2” buttons for sewing machine knobs
2 – 5/8” plastic rings
1/4” dowel rod cut to about 24”

General supplies:
5” to 7” embroidery hoop(s), scissors, pins, needles (sewing, embroidery, quilting), paper & pencil,
cardstock (for printing pattern pieces), iron & ironing board, sewing machine, cutting mat with ruler &
rotary cutter (optional)
