I Love this pattern, i have made four and they all turned out so pretty! Thanks for such a great pattern!
I thought this pattern was okay, but the pattern pieces didn't line up as well as I'd have liked.
The pattern pieces didn't line up as well as others I've downloaded. View A and View B were not clearly marked, so I had to call the designer on the phone to straighten it out. (She was very helpful). I made the dress fully lined and reversible with piping trim. This wasn't part of the orignal pattern instructions, but I figured out how to do it. The dress turned out very cute, but discouraged me a little from using online patterns.
Very nice grown up, modest pattern. Great for the older kids.
This pattern has become my 11 yr olds favorite style. She has 3 dresses out of this pattern already. So easy to make and the instructions were easy to understand and follow. Make sure to add the snap or hook/eye to the side though or the dress will slip. I made the straps long enough to be tied on the side or at the back and my daughter wears it both ways for added variety. I have also added rick-rack trim to the neck edges for a little something different. Next dress I will try some ruffles at the neck and the hem.
I thought I'd like this pattern more than I do. My girls don't like leaning on bows in the back. Made two of them and they both gape open in the front. The pattern wasn't as clear as some of the other dress patterns I've purchased. (view A and view B were not even mentioned in the cutting.) The gap in the front, might've been my fault because I could've combined both A and B without knowing???
Such a beautiful, modest and sophisticated dress. I made view "B" in a size 5 and my daughter loves it. The fit was perfect. Her cousin loved it so much she asked me to make her one also. There will be many more of these in my future. I love the approachable writing style of the patterns. This pattern is a must-have.
