“This pattern was perfect for my daughter's Pioneer Dress-Up days at school. The other moms were really impressed. I'm a novice sewer and the instructions were clear. However, the dress is versatile that a different type of fabric would give you a modern looking dress.”

I absolutely adore this pattern! This is probably my favorite "peasant" style pattern by far! It isn't to bunchy and bulky like so many are - perfect fit! I made this one for my daughter's school pictures and we got LOTS of compliments! She wears it ALL THE TIME!! Very easy to make and quick to put together.

This is sooooo easy to sew! It's also very easy to add embellishments to the dress. You can make several and have them all look different by adding ribbon or ruffle to the bottom, and by adding different ribbon for the waistband. I even used the pattern to make a nightgown out of flannel-- I just didn't add the waistband. My daughter is tall, but very slim, and this pattern is very easy to add length to the bottom to accommodate that.

Pattern is well written, but contains line drawing rather than actual pictures of the steps. It is a very basic peasant dress pattern with the addition of the waistband/apron.

It is easy to make, goes together quickly and fits good.

I love, love, love this pattern!!! I've made it with longer sleeves, tunic tops, dress with ruffles. There are so many variations you can use! It's very easy to use AND the measurements are perfect... I have found that I think the length for the dress seems a little long but otherwise I'm extremely pleased!
